Have you tried ibotta?

ibotta is like having coupons in the digital age only better. No need to hunt, search and cut em’ out anymore. It’s a free mobile app for digital coupons, rebates and cashback shopping. You select where you are planning on going shopping and see what rebates are available then you unlock the rebates you’d like to use. If your in the store you scan the product(s) then after you make purchase you take a pic of your receipt and submit it. It’s that easy. When it’s time you can cash out via Paypal, Venmo or a Gift Card. It’s awesome because it’s so convenient that it’s cash, not points or anything else. It’s available for both Apple & Android devices. This is one of my current go to apps definitely #checkitout

Good Times & Great Food

The all new Gully’s on the Newburgh waterfront is officially open. I went with a friend and tried it over the holiday weekend. The food was excellent! I got a cheeseburger with chips and it was delicious. For all the adults (21+) they are now serving all-NY craft beer at the bar. It’s a beautiful dining experience just sitting outside on the top deck enjoying the scenery of the Hudson. Also at night on the weekends they have live entertainment too. If you’ve never been there before definitely check it out.

Have You Tried BurgerFi?

A burger restaurant unlike any other just opened in Poughkeepsie this weekend. BurgerFi focuses on using all-natural, free-range beef with no chemicals or additives. Their burgers taste super yummy and they are better for you. Unlike typical fast food they built a menu with specialty items like Kobe beef hot dogs, gourmet toppings, delectable desserts, craft beer & wine, and an overall focus on a healthier menu selection. I got to try a single cheese burger plain with a side of Onion rings and it was soooo good. If your nearby the Vassar college area definitely stop by and try it.

BurgerFi is located at 60 Raymond Ave Poughkeepsie, NY

The all new Hoopla Frozen Yogurt Shop in Middletown is now open! (Its located in the plaza behind Walmart) I went and tried it for the first time and I was blown away. They have 30+ flavors of frozen yogurt and tons of toppings…I decided to go with the Cherry Limeade flavor and boy was it yummy! This Saturday they will giving away t-shirts to the first 500 customers. Definitely grab some friends and check it out.

They also have other shops that recently opened in both Newburgh & Poughkeepsie.

I met up with some friends and we checked out The Pour House on 206 Main st. in Poughkeepsie. Just recently opened, its a beautiful wine bar lounge and bistro with a very relaxed atmosphere, you can talk amongst yourselves and enjoy the music. They had a live performance tonight by Shannon & Rich Acoustic Duo from 6-9pm & they did a wonderful job. I’m definitely gonna come back, had a great time.
